2/8/19 - Gluten Free & Vegan Baking

Class Materials

  • Y-Peeler
  • Avocado Tool - You might think I am sponsored by this tool... I am sadly not.
  • Oven Mitts - Love these bad boys. Arm burns, no more!
  • Food Processor - This is the 7-cup model I have and I find it suits all my needs!
  • King Arthur All Purpose GF Baking Mix & All Purpose Flour (Both available on Vitacost which I love for my GF and vegan dry goods)
  • Baby Cakes Cookbook - decent donut recipes inside!
  • Speed-Ripening Bananas - The microwave offers the quickest option, but I really like the oven example this guy provides in his video… Looks just as efficient and only slightly more time!
  • Vegan Donut Recipe - This one looks pretty legit… I haven’t tried it, but when I do, I’ll let you know how it goes. It’s not gluten free, but it’ll be good to have the gluten when omitting the eggs. This is another that looks really good, but it’s all on YouTube.
  • Vegan Cashew Cheese - These are the people I mentioned make an awesome cashew brie! Looks like they sell it at a restaurant in Little Italy!
  • Coconut Whipped Cream
  • Vegan Chocolate Mousse
  • Wall lights - fun light fixtures in our home
  • Sleep Aid Links:
  • ChilliPad - the device Carl sleeps on underneath our fitted sheet
  • Mask - He wasn’t keen on the idea at first but it’s become one of the most important parts of his sleeping routine
  • Breathing - He doesn’t use this, but has heard it’s popular among the non-sleeping set
  • Spray Magnesium
  • Purple Carrot - I forgot to mention this in class, but this is an excellent vegetarian/vegan meal kit service. If you’re interested in trying it out, let me know. I’ve earned free boxes to send to friends and I’d be happy to send anyone one to try out. No obligation to subscribe, I’d send you the email and you can choose to sign up, receive the box and then cancel.
